Structured Support. Lasting Restoration.
Our Pledge
Building Miracles Foundation is committed to restoring stability and dignity to families who have lost their homes to catastrophic fires. Our work encompasses the reconstruction and rehabilitation of residences, churches, roads, sidewalks, schools, and broader community infrastructure, ensuring that every person has a secure place to call home.
This page outlines our strategic plan for the allocation and stewardship of donor funds. We are dedicated to transparent, accountable use of contributions to maximize impact and accelerate recovery for affected communities.
Core commitments
Rapid, needs-driven response: Deploy personnel to assess incoming submissions, prioritize urgent needs, and initiate help, so families regain safety and peace of mind as soon as possible.
Comprehensive rebuilding: Support not only individual households but also community institutions—places of worship, educational facilities, and communal spaces—whose restoration is essential to long-term recovery.
Network expansion and partnership: Grow and strengthen a network of volunteers, contractors, nonprofit partners, and local leaders to increase reach and efficiency, enabling us to serve more families with greater speed and effectiveness.
Fundraising support: Assist individuals and organizations in raising funds on behalf of families in need, providing expertise in campaign development, donor stewardship, and transparent reporting.
Accountability and stewardship: Maintain rigorous financial controls, regular reporting, and impact assessments to ensure donor funds produce measurable, sustainable outcomes.
Our pledge is to respond swiftly, rebuild responsibly, and collaborate broadly so that every family affected by fire can recover with safety, dignity, and hope for the future. Join us in this mission to restore homes and rebuild lives.

With Every Intake Form,

Urgency and Request,
We categorize each families based on urgency and level of help needed. Whether that would be additional funds for rent, additional funds for rebuild, help securing a safe living environment, or help organizing what is needed for the community, we address all concerns coming in the order submitted.
Assigning Teams
We then assign our teams to work, and get back to you with a structured plan solution, and / or support . We are with you every step of the way throughout the process. Once each project is underway, it shall be listed as accomplishments or “in progress for our donors and public to see.
Current
Focus:
Whether communities face inadequate insurance settlements or lack any capital to rebuild, we begin by listening attentively to understand their needs and discern viable pathways forward.
We then carefully evaluate the potential for substantive, lasting impact through the strategic application of our influence and capital. When an investment is committed—whether by grant or contractual award—our program teams and grantees work in close partnership throughout the entire investment lifecycle. The detailed process is outlined below.
-
List of families in Need
We maintain a vetted roster of households and individuals confronting acute deficits in reconstruction capital—some facing partial shortfalls, others entirely bereft of insurance resources. Several families have had their policies rescinded and are now bereft of recourse. These clients require urgent, strategic assistance to secure the financial and logistical means necessary to undertake comprehensive rebuilding.
-
Raise Funds
We will mobilize targeted philanthropic capital to enable households to rebuild despite inadequate or nonexistent insurance coverage. By funding resilient, high-quality prefabricated and site-built dwellings, we restore permanent housing and community continuity—replacing temporary hotel and recreational vehicle accommodations with durable, dignified homes sited on family property.
-
Assign Funds to a Builder
Once funding is approved for a qualifying project, Building Miracles disburses funds directly to the contracted builder for the agreed-upon scope of work. Payments are made in accordance with documented project milestones to ensure responsible use of charitable funds, cost transparency, and timely completion.
-
Back in Their Home
Construction timelines for catalog and prefabricated residences are generally estimated at approximately ten months from the date building permits are issued. Construction activities are guided by defined milestones to ensure accountability, cost discipline, and timely progress. At project completion, the supported family may occupy the rebuilt home — marking a meaningful return to the community.
